Cocoa Processing at a Glance
Cocoa processing plant is made up of pre-treatment of
cocoa beans (cleaning, de-stoning and removal of
metals), roasting of the beans, winnowing or separation
of the shell from the nib, pre to fine grinding of the
beans to cocoa liquor or cocoa mass, blocking off and
pacing of the liquor, separation of cocoa butter from
cocoa solids with the cocoa pot press, blocking off and
packing of the cocoa butter, bagging of the cocoa solid
or cocoa cake and grinding of cocoa cake to cocoa powder
and bagging of same.
The raw materials and finished products are subjected to
quality analysis to ensure that the final products meet
the customers need in accordance with international
standards.
Future Plans
Expansion of vegetable oil refinery and addition of
solvent extraction plant and fractionation plant.
Increase of factory capacity to 50,000 MT per annum
Invest in backward integration to assure continuous and
improved beans availability.
